3DNR
Regular CCD’s can exhibit modest low light sensitivity with increased noise levels. Conventional 2DNR circuits are frequently added to reduce noise, but still suffer from night time motion blur. 3DNR corrects this with sophisticated DNR algorithmns, providing clear low light images even with moving objects.
Color Rolling Suppression

HD Double Scan
The 960H Double Scan CCD is a high performance sensor which samples each image twice, once for shadow detail and once for highlight detail. This allows for effective Wide Dynamic range in a CCD imager. Additionally, the high density pixel array provides class-leading resolution of 650 TVL in color, and 700 TVL in black and white.

hsBLC

(High Suppression Backlight Compensation) Backlight Compensation helps resolve detail in darker areas even when brightly lit objects are in view. Highlight suppression goes further, darkening full white areas allowing connected CCTV equipment to achieve optimum video quality.

Intelligent IR
Conventional IR cameras have fixed IR output, and objects in close proximity will become washed out. To compensate, these types of cameras will shut down the iris, darkening the entire scene. Intelligent IR compensation prevents oversaturation when objects come close to the camera. By varying the IR output, this allows background detail to remain visible.

Pixim®
![]()
The Pixim® Sensor digitizes light at the point of capture in real time by placing an analog-to-digital converter inside each pixel. This allows unprecedented dynamic range, producing the highest quality images under non-ideal lighting conditions.

Sony Super HAD CCD II
The high quality Super HAD CCD II improves sensitivity and provides 560TVL resolution in daytime, and 600TVL at night. All Sony Super HAD CCD technology utilizes two micro lenses on top of each photo diode that are able to collect more photon from incoming light.

sWDR - Super Wide Dynamic Range
Regular Backlight Compensation circuits adjust video levels to make dark subjects brighter. However, bright backgrounds get washed out, losing detail. Effio based Super Wide Dynamic Range (sWDR) digitally adjusts all pixels to optimum brightness, retaining high resolution detail in both bright and dark areas.
